PARTICIPATION IN THE EXHIBITION "SIAL CHINA 2019", SHANGHAI

From May 14 to 16, 2019, the 20th China International Food Exhibition SIAL China 2019 was held in Shanghai at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center (SNIEC).

OJSC “Urozhaynoye” presented its new products – pumpkin cream soup, lentil cream soup, vegetable cream soup and gazpacho soup – and its crispy snacks from fruits and vegetables.

All products received a positive feedback from exhibition visitors.

The Russian pavilion at the Asia's largest international food exhibition SIAL China 2019, which opened in Shanghai on Tuesday, became one of the largest on this site. This year, about 115 Russian companies presented their products at this event, which is held annually in Shanghai and attracts representatives from the wholesale and retail markets, beverage and food manufacturers, the hotel business, the service sector, and many other players involved in the food business.

The United Russian Pavilion, as explained to a TASS correspondent at the Russian Export Center (REC), covers an area of more than 1.5 thousand square meters. Most companies are represented on it, but there are those who have their own separate stands. Manufacturers from Russia are present, in particular, in such sections as confectionery, dairy and meat products, snack products, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and many others.

At the opening ceremony of the joint stand of Russian exporters, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Shanghai Alexei Evsikov read out the welcome address of the Russian Ambassador to China Andrei Denisov. In bilateral deliveries, agricultural products, in general, and food, in particular, represent a promising direction of mutual trade, the statement says.

At the end of 2018, Russian food exports to China increased by 42.2% and reached $2.52 billion.
